Registrations are now open for the 2015/2016Milo in2cricket program. Once again our sessions will be conducted 9.30am Saturday mornings, also this season we will have our under 11′s program up and running for BOYS and GIRLS, they will be conducted on Friday nights.
JUNIOR TRAINING, will commence on Tuesday Nights, from 4pm- 5.30pm, Dates of commencement will be up shortly.
The MILO in2CRICKET program is designed for BOYS and GIRLS aged from 5 – 10 years, and to help teach the kids the basic skills of cricket.

Mid week training for season 2015/2016 will commence Wednesday 2nd September at Keysborough Reserve beginning at 4.00pm, with the next session on Sunday 6th September, 11.30am, and every Wednesday and Sunday following, until the footy season ends, more details to come. Due to fading light, all players are encouraged to get there as early as possible to maximize their training. All players are also instructed to wear white tops.

The Keysborough Knights Cricket Club, have appointed Jake Hennigan as our senior coach for the 2nd year now, along with Steve Hennigan as specialist batting coach, and some of our club veterans knowledge of the game, we have all areas covered.
The Club needs every player to support both Steve and Jake Hennigan in the clubs quest to have every side playing finals cricket this season.
Also with the club now having under 11s this season, we’d like to welcome Simon Vigelante as our junior coach, Simon played juniors with Keysborough many years ago, and has jumped at the chance to help us build our club up to become a fun and competetive place to be, and he will be working alongside with Darren ( rowdy ) Bedford, our junior and milo co ordinator.
So great things happening for our club in 2015/2016, and anyone of all ages are welcome to be a part of it.

The prestigous Hennigan-Papa Medal will once again be held at the clubrooms on Saturday 2nd March beginning at 7pm. Celebrating the marvelous careers and contributions to the cricket club, we honour Stephen Hennigan and Lou Papa with this superb medal being awarded to the best player as adjudicated by Umpires and Captains for performances during the 2012-2013 season. This seasons’ winner will join the likes of past winners Baden Saunders, Alex Deuchar and Jake Hennigan as deserved winners. There is no cost for the function, so there is no excuse for not attending. As an added bonus, come down to see Spider take on all comers in the now traditional Baccardi Breezer Challenge.
Finger food will be provided during the night, and full bar service available.
Our end of year xmas function will be huge this season, with the expectation of our milo/juniors to rise in numbers, this party will be going all out to celebrate as a family club.
With a visit from our old mate SANTA, games, raffles, a chance to win a huge xmas hamper, heaps of food, drinks, sweets, and lollies, for everyone.

Once again for season 2015/2016, we will be hosting our annual $1500 reverse draw, along with our PAST PLAYERS DAY, and to make it even more special, we’ll have our LIFE MEMBERS CHALLENGE.
The date for this years draw will be Sunday January 31st 2016 at the clubrooms beginning at 12.30pm. Admission is $30ea and includes a ticket to the draw (of which you can win goods to the value of $1500), food, beer, wine and soft drinks whilst the draw is conducted. As an added side attraction for this year’s draw, our LIFE MEMBERS will be particapating in a Watermelon Challenge, more details on that as we get closer.
Its extremely important players and supporters of the Keysborough Cricket Club support this function, so please make a special effort for this years draw, and take the chance to mingle with family, friends and our club sponsors.
This season we will be continuing our once a month Dinner Nights, this idea was introduced by one of our life members, Baden Saunders, who’s idea was to generate a more family orientated club, and having a get together every month proved just that, we’ve had Pie night, Curry night, Mediterranean night, all fantastic food and great turnouts.
This season, we want to keep the party going by getting more of our members involved, if anyone has a theme for these nights, e.g.; fancy dress, kareoke, movie night,casino night, let us know, and if anyone wants to offer their services in anyway please let us know, we’re always open for help and suggestions.
This year we want to show our appreciation towards our sponsors, by organising a SPONSORS GOLF DAY, where we’ll have both our members and sponsors enjoying a game of golf, followed be a BBQ lunch and drinks, the date hasn’t yet been set, but we’ll notify everyone soon, looking forward to that one.
$1500 DRAW & LIFE MEMBERS DAY
The $1500 draw has been scheduled for the 31st January 2016. This season we’ve decided to combine two of our big events into one, this will be huge, with the clubs past players and partners, a chance to win prizes to the value off $1500, and the life members challenge, its a must see.
This is new to the club, we’ve heard good things about this night, no date as yet, so stay tuned, good for those who like to dress up.
