Another cricket season is upon us, and low and behold all Turf grades are washed out for the first Saturday of the season, which means a one day game next week.
This season is shaping to be an exciting one for the Knights. As previously mentioned we have a new coach in Stephen Hennigan who has got amazing ideas for training (and some obscure ones for life), and our first XI being captained for the first time by Jake Hennigan. Get behind both of these guys as they are both as passionate about our club as anyone could be.
This year we are fielding Turf 2, Turf 4, B Grade, G Grade and a One Day side as well. Numbers at training have steadily been improving and been very impressive. We have a quite a few number of new faces that have made their way down to the Knights, and on behalf of the committee, i welcome you all. Special welcome to Vasu who has come to the club with 10 or 11 of his mates who will represent our club in G Grade.
For any team selections, click on the Teams/Seniors tab
Good luck to all teams for this season, and with a little bit of luck and bit of good management, we can have a few sides playing finals.
Mid week training for season 2013/2014 will commence Tuesday 3rd September at Keysborough Reserve beginning at 4.30pm, with the next session on Thursday 5th September. Due to fading light, all players are encouraged to get there as early as possible to maximize their training. All players are also instructed to wear white tops.
New players are most welcome
